Professor - Mushtaq Ahmad Gurmani School of Humanities and Social Sciences, LUMS
Dr. Basit Bilal Koshul teaches courses in the areas of sociology, religion, and philosophy. His areas of interests include the relationship between religion and modernity, philosophy of science, philosophy of religion, the sociology of culture and the contemporary Islam-West encounter.
Associate Professor - Mushtaq Ahmad Gurmani School of Humanities and Social Sciences, LUMS
Dr. Nadhra Shahbaz N. Khan is specializing in South Asian visual culture, particularly Mughal and Sikh art, at LUMS. Her expertise extends to colonial architecture in Punjab and the influence of British art education policies on local craftsmanship, as well as South Asian heritage and culture historiography.
Professor - Faculty of Science, Islamic International University, IIUI
Dr. Asma Gul is a Professor of Biology, currently in charge of the faculty of Sciences at the International Islamic University (IIUI). Her research interests are Psychoneuroimmunology, cancer genetics and physiology. She is heading the Molecular Oncology Research Lab (MORL). She strongly advocates for equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in the research environment. She is the recipient of the “Excellent Leadership Award,” awarded to accomplished scientists actively involved in social work.
Associate Professor - Syed Babar Ali School of Science and Engineering, LUMS
Dr. Abubakr Muhammad is the founding Director of the Center for Water Informatics & Technology (WIT) at LUMS. His research interests are the intersection of technology, society, and the environment with an emphasis on human-water systems, agricultural robotics, and the role of AI in studying complex dynamical systems.
Professor - Syed Babar Ali School of Science and Engineering, LUMS
Dr. Muhammad Sabieh Anwar is Professor of physics, Ahmad Dawood Chair and former Dean at the LUMS Syed Babar Ali School of Science and Engineering. His research interests beyond quantum physics include the culture of science in the muslim world, and science education in developing economies. As part of the Khwarizmi Science Society, he leads one of the region's biggest science festivals called Lahore Science Mela which combines scientific and cultural capitals in an inviting show for thousands of visitors.
Assistant Professor - Syed Babar Ali School of Science and Engineering, LUMS
Dr. Maryam Mustafa is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science at LUMS. She is also Director of the Gender and Technology Cluster and the Saeeda Waheed Gender Initiative housed at LUMS. Her research interests are in Human-Computer Interaction with a focus on designing, building, and evaluating novel interactive systems with under-served populations. She is broadly interested in understanding the social, technical, and access constraints of diverse populations and re-imagining technologies to address their unique contexts, and aspirations.

Abdullah Amjad has a background in computer science and information & communication systems engineering, and experience in instruction and curriculum design in three different kinds of educational organizations. His research interests lie on the cross-sections of religious thought, foundations of mathematics and computer science, and the pragmatist schools in philosophy.

Ammar Qaseem has a background in engineering and public policy and has worked in the industry, the academia and the development sector. He finished his masters on the Fulbright program. His area of interest spans the hard and the soft sciences. He is specifically interested in complex non-linear dynamic systems, self-organization and far from equilibrium thermodynamics.
